Student Forge Summer Camp 26-Extraordinary

AUGUST 3rd-7th – We are headed back to Lake Ann Camp for Forge: Extraordinary! Camp is our BIGGEST event of the year, and it's where God does big things in the hearts and lives of our students! 

At Forge, we see faith strengthened, challenged and deepened at a level we don't get to experience from our weekly meetings. A week away from the noise of life allows students and leaders to focus on what matters most-Jesus! 

But there's still a lot of fun to be had! Lake Ann Camp provides so many great activities: from sports, to hiking trails, to High Adventure courses such as high ropes and ziplines, as well as waterfront activities including a blob, kayaking, and a water slide! There's truly something for everyone!

Frequently asked questions:

How much money should I send with my student?
The Red Canoe gift shop will be open. Students can buy sweaters, t-shirts, souvenirs, ice cream, snacks, drinks, etc. Everything is cash only. I would suggest anywhere between $20-$40, but that's totally up to you. They're welcome to bring more or less.

How are the students getting to Lake Ann Camp?
We will be taking a charter bus to camp. The bus has a bathroom, a DVD player to watch a movie, and compartments above to store carry-on luggage. All other suitcases, duffle bags, and sleeping bags will be stored underneath the bus.

What if my student has dietary restrictions?
If your student has any dietary restrictions, like vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, etc. Please email us separately and let us know what those are. Lake Ann Camp is very good at accommodating most dietary concerns. If you have already put this on your registration form, we will let Camp Lake Ann staff know of this information. If something has changed or if you forgot to add something, please email us separately.

What if my student takes daily medication?
Please send your student's medication in a well-marked container or original bottle with clear instructions. Our leaders will hold on to the medication and distribute it when needed. If your child carries an EPI-Pen or uses an inhaler, we also need to be made aware, so please let us know, and we can discuss any medical concerns you have for your student!

If I register early and put down my 25% deposit for camp but don't pay the full amount until later, do I still get the best price?
Yes, you do! If you register anytime before June, you will get the best price when you pay the full amount. If you have more questions or have any problems, please contact students@milecity.com.
